New computer build

from reading this it looks good, but i would highly recommend not going with SSD. they are prohibitively expensive and are not blazing fast, they are fast, but not fast enough for the price.

I would say if you want a good, fast drive, buy some velociraptors. They are 10000RPM drives and are server quality. Plus, they are made by western digital.

I will put up my build as soon as my question regarding the budget and accessories is answered.

the mouse keyboard wil be a seperate budget but the monitor will be in th budget so wil be OS

you could probably ditch the expensive sound card and spend the saved $$ on an even better graphics card, say a GTX 285 or something like that

So your going AMD/ATI now? Good! :D

Btw dont get the V10, because is heavy and your gonna be moving your case alot. I say get TRUE 120 or the Megatron.

yea amd/ati cheaper

yea v10 change that then yea didnt think of it as so heavy but yea ur rite mite break off :scared:... thats my build 4 nxt month cnt wait

so u think i should change sound cards so i can get 2 ATI graphic cards :) and make it super good ...

i dont really like amd processors at this point.....they dont perform up to the i7 and the extra around 100 bucks is worth it to get the i7 with DDR3 ram and everything.......i7 are very good overclockers also

I do love ATI cards though, im not a fanboy but i think they are better at this point in time. Still cant wait though for the ATI 5 series and the new Nvidia GTX series.

The cooler master v10 may be heavy but it will only add wat like 2 pounds or less to the overall weight. The computer in general will not be light and it will still be heavy no matter wat, you probably wont feel the difference in weight between the v10 or a True 120. The handle bars will make it so much easier to carry and the weight difference will be even less noticeable.
