Laptop grafics card

i was wondering which one is better for a laptop

512MB NVIDIA? Geforce? 9600M GT

or

512MB ATI Mobility Radeon? HD4650

thanx i looked at that and found this games test with grafics card on the same site and it says the :

512MB NVIDIA? Geforce™ 9600M GT: had a score of 624

512MB ATI Mobility Radeon? HD4650: had a score of 608

but i dont know if it is a large difference

they have a whole list on graphics cards and the order from best to worse should take a look.........they have gaming benchmarks for most of them also

yer thats the site reflex99 sent me to and well they said the ATI was a bit better but then in the gaming test i found on the site to it said the 9800 was better

yes the 9800m is better than the 4650 but the 9600m is worse

wat kind of laptop are you getting? Asus is selling a 1 thousand dollar laptop with AMAZING SPECS FOR THE MONEY. It is running a 2.53 ghz duo core and a GTX 260m which is a rebranded 9800gt but the 9800gt was one of the fastest GPU on the market and still is now.

I would wait though because it is supposedly having some technical problems so wait for an update to that laptop or a fix of some sort.

i think this is a better one, minus the driver issues

my friend just got it and he loves it

it also plays crysis at 40 fps and he over clocked it to 2.53 GHz

yea its a nice one too but the p8700 is much better than the processor in that one and the extra ram is a help. For the extra only 100 bucks i would go with the one i picked but yea the driver issues are a bit of a pain. Thats y i recommended he wait till they fix it lol
