Image Stuck on Desktop

Hmmm, have you tried restarting? Try moving an icon there and moving it away.

I would say restart and if that doesnt work then... i dunno, does it really bug you?
 
It's the type of thing I can ignore, but I can't stand having things out of place and these slight errors bug me. Right now I've changed my background to something that hides it and moved my icons, lol.
 
I have it in my corner right now. It says "server prot..." usually it says "Group Officer".

I just ignore it, I run Vista too so maybe that's why.
 
Its a bug with steam, I get it too sometimes. Exit steam and it will go away.
 
I get that too, I have to restart my computer but I haven't tried restarting Steam, that sounds like a good idea if it would work. But I have XP (Best OS Eva!) and when it happened it would only happen when I opened steam.
 
I read on steam forums ,i believe, that this is an issue with Firefox 3.5 Now i have no idea why, but to fix it download the steam client beta. Its under settings then change beta status. I think thats where its at, because i don't have steam on this pc.
But i had this issue too, but downloading the beta fixed it.
 
it's a bug steam has it happens because steam uses it's own window decorations and shadows instead of the normal windows ones

I just thought this was some bug or something I randomly had...

It's either Steam or Firefox... I both mentioned.
So does anyone actually have the solution and know it works? (sorry if posted, I skimmed fast)
