Hey Guys.

I'm going to make this short and sweet.

I think that in honor of the Iron Horse Edgegamers should have an event to raise money for charities that help to find cures for ALS. I don't know how exactly we would be able to do this, but it was just an idea I had. Tell me what you guys think. I really hope we can do this.

Sounds like a great idea in my opinion, just dont really know how we could pull it off. Sad news about Iron Horse, glad I got to play with him a couple of times...would really like to see this happen.

It would be nice, yes, but eGO needs money too and we do have a 3000 dollar bill every month that needs to get paid. I am sure his family is already doing something like this.

IF an event doesn't happen, remember you/we can donate to organizations such as ALS.ORG (not an endorsement/solicitation/etc.) in Brian's (aka Iron Horse) name.

I love the idea (RIP IH), and i dont mean to put a downer on this but to find a cure you would in perspective have to be able to cure Alzheimer disease (degeneration of neurotransmitters) as both are sort of the same thing just opposite relation, one degenerates the brain the other takes motor neurons, but both are the same thing a large network of nerves that deteriorate from the disease so unless you can find a legit center for ALS treatment and research center it would be best to donate to a center for the treatment and research of Alzheimer disease. RIP Iron Horse!!!!!

We could make up TF2 stickers that say "Donate to sap' ALS " or

Have a sticky bomb on the letters "ALS" and it says "Sticky-bomb the ALS" or "Bombard ALS" or "Iron Horsing the ALS".

I would donate. It upsets me that there are so many diseases in this world that we haven't found the cure yet or have the money to give for the research.

Great idea about the stickys! But to the latter comment its not really a lack of money but the lack of scientist that governments put into it
