Dunno if this is the right forum, but here goes...

So i was thinking about buying the Novint falcon myself :) but the problem is, it doesn't seem like novint wanna sell them in Europe, when you look at their website it says "customers from outside of the united states go here" but nothing shows up :S
anybody from europe who have gotten a novint falcon through purchase?
and is it worth it?

Hey Drambar, international selling is fairly new to us. We got our feet wet with the ebay store, but we're in the process of moving international Falcon sales directly to our website, which should be up within 2 weeks. thx, tomnovint

I am sure it is great, but I will stick with my mouse and keyboard, it is what I have been gaming with for 20 years.

Hey Defcon III, I've heard several customers say almost the exact same thing, but gave the Falcon a try, and now say that they can't imagine going back. We have a 30 day money back guarantee, and ultimately the Falcon control is very similar to a mouse's so it isn't all that much different (though it is significantly different and improved, in terms of experience). Food for thought ;)

thx, tomnovint

I am sure it is a great product, I wasn't trying to bash it, but being a college student, I save money for ammo and training courses.

Also, the grip on the Falcon looks like a Walther P99.

Hey Defcon III, I definitely didn't take it as bashing. Thanks for your note. I hear ya on prioritizing spending, of course. Was just throwing in my 2 cents in case you thought of it differently than it is (it's often tough with a product like ours, to get people to understand without trying it). Some of the design was inspired by the Walther P99 - good eye ;) thx, tomnovint

I myself and probably alot of gamers as well will play games for a few hours at a time. Doesn't your hand get tired holding it up like that for so long?

This is a tech-talk topic.

But yeah DjO, it gets very tired if you play in long sessions. If you use it 45 minutes at a time it will work great. It also depends on what you have recoil set to.

I think it takes some getting used to and requires you to set up your workspace properly, but this last wednesday I played for 6 hours straight without taking my hand off the Falcon, and had no fatigue at all. thx, tomnovint

That's very good to hear tom. I've been wondering if I can be able to play with the falcon for long periods of time. I hope you guys at Novint decide to do more giveaway events because even though the $100 offer is an AMAZING deal, a lot of us are still under 18, so it's hard to pay for things ourselves without begging out parents. And the way they think of it, a waste of money. Also tom, thanks for being so involved in the community. I really like how you communicate with us personally. It shows that you guys care :D

Appreciate the note RustyPwns. One other way to get a Falcon is to refer others to buy it. Refer 3 get one free. You can check out our referrals program here

thanks, tomnovint

i really wanted one when there was that eGO sale thing >_< , but no EU as mentioned lol. do you have any idea how mush shipping will be when you deliver to EU, UK to be specefic

nice image petergriffin, lol

shipping can be expensive for UK - about $80, I believe. It will show on our site when you order when it goes live on Monday. Balanced against that, though, is a great exchange rate for the UK. hopefully that helps with the overall value.

thx, tomnovint

why thankyou lol.

il need to keep an eye out for that, but $80 is a little steep hehe. so il need to see how much money i have heh

I would love to buy one but like others have said 100 bucks is not affordable for all of us. The refferal program is great but its also not that easy to get 3 ppl to dish out 100-200 bucks. If there are any promotions in the future that can bring the product below 100 bucks i would be on board.

kk. thanks for the feedback. I don't think we'll be below $100 anytime soon unfortunately. thx, tomnovint
