League Team Pooling

After going through this thread > http://www.edgegamers.org/forums/showthread.php?t=94116 < I feel like there are a lot of people out there willing to join a team but don't know where to look, not enough friends who play tf2, or what not.

I'm suggesting that if perhaps there is a League Team Pooling or something where everyone who wants to join can sign up with 1 class they pick to play.

and teams can be formed/picked out/randomed or what not of that.

Or something to that idea. because, I would love to join the leagues and play. no matter the team, it sounds like great fun.

or is something like this already done? cuz I'm new =]

I think that sounds good. As a new guy also; its confusing to me on how to join a team for this eGO league.

Sounds like a good plan to me. I used to play in a league for CS, but that was a couple years ago now and I'm itching to get competing again.

That's right: the new guidelines for team composition will simply be:

Players for teams within the TF2 League must be comprised of people who are:

- Registered (and email verified) on the eGO website.
- MAUL verified.
- Not banned from eGO servers.

Gone are rules on: HLx rankings or eGO member requirements....

If you head over to the TF2 Scrim forum section, you can find all kinds of info on the upcoming league; also, looks like the team composition constraints have been removed...

I am 94.69% on board with this idea. I really like it, so the team captains have a pool to select from, Gym dodgeball all over again D:.

Everyone is free to choose any team (pending the captains approval), if members do not know anyone who is starting/on a team, we will have a thread for those who wish to be "assigned" to a team. I put this in quotes because they will go to the teams that need them, e.g. a team who only has 6 out of the 9 players on the team. Since Season 2 will not start until September, you have plenty of time to try and find a team, if not just post in the thread we make toward the end of the expected time for the rosters to be complete. Also if you just keep an eye out, there is almost always at least 1 post from a team who is looking for someone to join . Feel free to PM with any other questions about the league.
