cant talk in vent

well. for some very odd reason, vent wont let me talk anymore. i tried to switch the button to something else and it stilll wouldnt let me talk. so if someone would tell me how to fix this, it would b appreciated. thanks!

Are you sure you dont have your microphone/binds button checked off? Check the bottom of the ventrilo window and see if they are unchecked.

If thats not the issue, go to Setup and look at the left hand side. Make sure 'Enable Outgoing voice messages', and 'PTT Mode' is checked off

What happens to me all the time is I leave the mute microphone/bind on by mistake and I don't notice it. If not then reinstall ventrilo. Maybe your codecs got messed up.

Usually the codec is defaulted to the server. So it might be his mic
