Someone woke up a little cranky this morning.
These pictures are about having fun and displaying creativity by making your own avatar by personalizing it instead of downloading animated gifs from google. No need to hate.

Not hating, but I would like to just point out, there is a real lack of creativity when everyone and their grandmother has the same kind of thing going on in their avatar.

Failure to understand post. It's called a fad, a bandwagon, you are not being original or creative because you are all using the same idea as someone else because it's currently funny.

Fads are not original or creative, they are just that, fads. overused and parodied beyond recognition.

It's a meme, what do you expect. There are thousands of them. When they get played out they get moved off from new ones, they usually last a pretty long time though. (ie. over 9000).

the point is. all ideas have been used. nothing is original...

I assume those here complaining about it are 100% original?

Take your game name for example (anyone saying that we aren't being original) Is your game name original? nope.

So we are doing something funny. Why complain and try to drag down our fun? if you don't like it. don't do it. problem solved.

actually it is TF2 related, because he is asking us TF2 people to talk one of our Advisors into changing his avatar.... which he has done.

and as far as bandwagons, i believe the majority of us do the things we do because we find them funny. Just because everyone else finds it funny does that make it wrong to do so?

quite the opposite i believe. If someone doesn't want to do it. thats fine. but don't assume EVERYONE is doing it just to "go along"

Isn't that the same as the Lip sync videos? the mustoreos? saftey/bacon dance? all things people could be said to be bandwagoning for... This is no different. Anyone who doesn't want to do it, doesn't have to. nor will anyone who doesn't do it be looked at funny. cuz its all just one big joke. I don't see the need to insult us who decided to do it though. And assuming the motives behind why someone does something. Saying they are just "Going with the crowd." is an insult. Atleast to me. I have never done anything i didn't want to do on my own. And i feel most the people here are the same.
