What am I missing?

Hi everybody,

I'm at a hotel in the middle of Northern Ontario with nothing but very slow proxied internet, and I can't connect to Gamesurge's IRC server; it kicks me out for having an unsecured proxy. I read the Steam event that said it's very important to listen tonight and be in IRC, but I don't have enough shared bandwidth to stream, and I can't connect to IRC.

My main question is, what am I missing? This sounds important and I'm really sorry I'm missing it. Thanks in advance for filling me in.

try using a second, secure proxy. tor may work, or any other secure proxy you can connect to. As for specific proxies, I have no suggestions.

ah i was up was up there in Fort Frances before with only satellite Internet was getting pings from 700 to 1200
