I got a new comp and NVIDIA card but my games wont run due to the fact that my Direct3D is "off" i have all the newest DLs for it up to date but i have no idea how to turn it on or w/e. help me out here

Try going into DxDiag.exe, you can do this by going into run then typing in DxDiag.exe.
When it opened go onto the tab Display, near the bottem of this is 'Direct3D Acceleration', and next to it should say Enabled, but if you say Direct3D is turned off it will obviously say Disabled. Also check the notes at the bottem and see if it say 'No problems found'.
