I looked up a few things try these:Run an integrity check on the files. Right click TF2 in "my games", properties, local files tab, Verify integrity of game cache. That will rule out the files being corrupted for the game. It'll take about 10 mins for it to run. didn't work? try updateing your drivers. still didn't work? :S if your running vista this might help http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940105 and if it still not working i have failed but keep your hopes up i know you will find a fix. ohh send me a pm if it does or doesn't wor beaucse i know am going to lose this thread

I dont know what the problem is but you could probably get more answers if you posted this in Tech Help

When i built my computer the first thing i did was install tf2 and i had this same problem, i was told it could be a problem with that part of my partition that the game was being installed so i uninstalled it, installed something else, then reinstalled it and it worked. idk if that will help you but you could shut the start up video off. maby, i doubt it, but maby that would fix it, you just go under your games tab on steam, right click on tf2, properties, then click launch settings, and type -novid "yes with the dash" that will get rid of the whole launch video, no idea if that will work but it could be worth a try

You should post this in the Tech Help section. Not the TF2 Division discussion.

This is exactly what happened to me.

I uninstalled TF2 and Installed CS:S- Using the steam client, not the discs!

The reason I asked what OS you were running is because I've only had this problem in Windows 7RC.

Hope this helps man. And, if you haven't done so, I really would take this to the tech help forums. :)

Go into steam, go to My Games, right click TF2 and select properties. From the properties menu, select Set launch options... and type -novid (including hyphen). Also, try not to click before the menu pops up, otherwise the client can freeze.
