i preffear avg 8,0 and im not talking about the free edition

I got McAfee Internet Security Suite for free as long as I keep using SBC/DSL. I prefer Norton, though. McAfee sucks really bad

It managed to block TF2 and CSS it is that protective XD
But thats sorted...
It's free too.
I have no firewall though cept windows firewall...
But I never need a firewall because I know what I'm doing
(Though C.O.M.O.D.O does come with a free firewall too)

For the longest time I didn't use one with no problems at all. This was up until last week when I got a free full year of Norton's newly redesigned anti-virus. I use their 2009 Gaming Edition.

Uses 6MB when fully on, and turns off everything except a light anti-virus when in full screen games. No notifications or system resources used.

Eset NOD32 it was on special on newegg last year might resubscribe if money is available very good and light AV IMO.

its probably the best all around system, we run it on over 500 computers with some heavy users and in last year we didnt have a single issue so give it a try its free for 90 days and there is also talk it will always be free soon
