i wanted to leave my desktop folding at my apt over the holiday weekend, but my apt has a tendancy to flood when i least expect it, and i have a bottom-mounted PSU, so that's no good lol i almost left it on my bed folding xD i still got my laptop goin full blast though

More GPU's = more POWA!

if you have one gpu it is recommended that you only use ONE gpu client, if you have two gpu's you may use TWO gpu clients

As each gpu client only takes resources from an individual gpu (IMPORTANT: you must use a flag in the runtime to get this to work, if you don't you might overheat your gpu or worse)


So technically, if he has a tri-sli mobo he could out-wu you pretty fast.

I always have my gpu client running and it cranks em out faster than they can send me more wu's (hyperbole)

This is my limitation. The machines I'm running only have a single PCI-E slot that I can use. I haven't been able to convince myself to build a folding rig yet so I'm waiting to find another desktop to use.

thanks! definitely gonna have to build a folding comp. my laptop hardly chugs out anything lol, and techdre sure is hot on everybody's heels . but good news! i'm getting a few coworkers into it with their PS3s won't be for our team, but something is something. and congrats on the 2 mil!
