Not if I'm building more than one! Actually I could probably pull it off for less than $500 and just replace the fried parts on my old setup. Fried mobo, fried ram, would need a new hdd and possibly cpu if it got fried with the mobo

Well, I'm not computing using my GPU, I'm using all my CPU. I set up an SMP client (with the help of FreakingHell) and am using all 8 cores of my i7 920. I'm thinking about doing some overclocking, but I have C0/C1 revision 920, and D0 is better to overclock with. My dad is getting a new laptop though, so I should be able to use his old one to fold with now.

I currently have the High Performance Client running with the VMware SMP client (Thanks to FreakingHell)

I don't recommend doing this unless you have a good CPU cooler. A stock cooler will not do

Yes you need another client. Yes you can run it at the same time as your CPU(but make sure the GPU client is set to a higher priority than the CPU client).

I am running windows 7. I just downloaded the first file at the top of the high performance downloads page (the "Windows: V6 GPU2 (ATI 2xxx, 3xxx, 4xxx; nVidia) clients" one), and ran the setup. Now I am running the VMWare and the GPU Client at the same time. I didn't set the GPU to a higher priority, I set the CPU usage of the GPU client to 0% (As to not hinder the progress of my SMP client). Is there a better way to do it than that?

Techdre, I have a NH-D14, so I'm fine for cooling.
