Folding@eGO team, round 2! (If you don't know what folding is, please read)

takes a good while to get through these new 50,000 steps, i've only completed 2 going on 3 units since yesterday evening!...getting so tempted to get another 260, too :-P
 
Hmmm anybody else having trouble retrieving work units ? Both my machines have been trying over and over since about 2 pm.

"Couldnt send HTTP to server, could not connect to work server , attempt to get work failed and no other work to do"
 
Glad it's not just me. I was trying to figure out why all my GPUs were sitting at 100%...
 
Servers are/were having issues, Vijay Pande is on. Mine's working again, not sure if everyone's are though.
 
Still having trouble with 171.67.108.21. Any way to force ignore a server? It seems to be the only one my GPUs are connecting to.
 
Last time this had happened , a restart worked great. Not this time, down all day n nite yesterday and haven't been back on it to see whats going on. My GPU's needed a break anyway.. poor guys
 
I'm FINALLY getting the PPD I should be getting. Should break 3 million points tonight or tomorrow.
 
Just to let you know I'm folding for my university now, but the important part is I'm still folding.
 
When i started folding, our overall team rank was 599 and now we are at 520 with 103 members. If we can somehow double the folders, we could go straight to the top.

Relatively speaking. the top team for production right now is EVGA, pulling a whopping 7 million points per day, as compared to your 46 thousand points per day.:P

You would need to get 152 times the number of folders (assuming they all average the same as your current folders) to match EVGA's points per day, let alone actually catch up. I'd love to see it happen though!
 
i actually am considering switching to evgas folding team. they give yo evga bucks for folding on their team :-O
 
LOL, we could get much higher ... And perhaps help fix some kinda disease . No chance of the top spot, but maybe a bit closer.

Im guessing the amount of EVGA bucks you receive for folding is very few, on top of having to buy your hardware from EVGA's site.

Drinking peoples brains through a straw will do that to you Takeabyte :-)
 
Actually the reimbursement isn't bad at all, 10 bucks a month if you get 250,000 points in; as per the hardware, you just need an evga account, which is free...so fold for a year, and you can get evga hardware for super cheap... tempting!
 
I would rather stick to folding for eGO.

I looked into folding for eGO bucks and it isn't worth it.

Takes too long just to get enough to buy anything.
