Ok, since I know that many of you have played Warhammer Online I will ask some simple yet important questions before I try the 10 days trial offer.

1- Is the game any good at the long run? I know that at the beginning it will be lots of fun, but after a while does it get boring or predictable?

2- To start of in the trial, what race and/or class would be more fun all around? Everyone have their favorites class, but some ideas of what to expect before hand will come in handy since I only have 10 days to play, and I start collage next week

3- Anything else? Tips, doe's and don't s and friendly advices at all. Help a fellow player out!

Also, if anyone else wants to start together let everyone else know so we can have a kick W.A.R. time.

Just as in any other MMORPG, there will be much grinding. At first, you will look forward to your next level. But after a while, you get tired of killing the same thing over and over, and doing long hard quests.

Don't beg, of course. Do try to join a guild early on.

Also, are you really willing to pay $15 a month for this?

Wow um how old is that video?

Have you even played the game? You don't have to do a second of grinding in this game if you don't want to, you could solely do RvR

As to answer your question, I find the most fun classes are squig herder and marauder.

Yes zippy I know there might be some grinding as in all MMO, but as Carmine said, this game was made for RvR and that is why im interested in it. Also, I want to try out the trial first to see if I want to spend $15 each month to play.

Still, you do have a good point about the money. Is not like I have lots to spend...

That is like pre-beta footage. The game is really fun and not much of a grind fest at all. I have a feeling your biased against MMOs from playing WoW. Because in WAR your not grinding all the time for new levels. It's really fun just runing around and RvRing.

I quit because I wanted to devote more time into FPS'S and im waiting on SWTOR, but it's a really good game.

I played before all the good patches too, so it's probably even better.

I am liking it a bit but I want some friends to play it with. I forgot the name of the server it put me on (It is a new server, apparently) but I will try to remember. I don't want to switch servers because, within 10 minutes, I found a blue item AND a green item so I am doing good for a level limit of 10. XD

Edit: Ah! My server is Badlands! :D I picked a Pyro mage dude since the element I am akin too is fire and all. Yes, my personality is such that if I had magic and fought for my beliefs, my foes would be crispy critters. XP

Same here Akisohida. I'm liking a lot the game, and have 3 characters of my own in just 1 day and 1 of my brother. Who knows, I just might get me a month paid just for the fun if it.

For anyone who has the full game come join me on Dark Crag Destro, they just merged it with Praag so its very busy now, tons of great battles, hit me up on Shinyl.

To answer your questions Falcon:
1- Is the game any good at the long run? I know that at the beginning it will be lots of fun, but after a while does it get boring or predictable?

The first 30 levels are a lot of fun, with some great battles, as far as ORvR is concerned, though it starts to run into problems end game.. aka Lag, Population and class imbalance, and to a lesser extent now, Crowd Control abilities, though they've just released a new patch to fix a lot of these problems, and are releasing a new one soon to fix some more.

2- To start of in the trial, what race and/or class would be more fun all around? Everyone have their favorites class, but some ideas of what to expect before hand will come in handy since I only have 10 days to play, and I start collage next week

For the 10 day trial anything will work really, just pick something that sounds fun.

3- Anything else? Tips, doe's and don't s and friendly advices at all. Help a fellow player out!

Make sure to try out Scenarios, they're alot of fun, they're instanced PvP matchs with different objectives (CTF, CP) and are a great way to level up, expesially early in the game, you can start doing them right at level one too. Just watch out on the map Khaines Embrace, after you capture the CPs, they explode! They've killed many a newbie. :O
