SC2 Delayed till 2010

Ugh. I've preordered SC2 for like a year now. I want them to make it good but at the same time, I JUST WANT IT!
 
You know guys, it's not entirely their fault. You can blame them for announcing things so soon all you want - but the fact of the matter is that gameplayers BEG to know what they can look forward to.

We're so needy for information, we kick, scream, and claw our way through the internet looking up every URL that's been reserved by our favorite game developers, or what names have been registered for copyright - just so that we can force them into telling us that they're working on the next whatever the hell it is.

It's really not fair to them, for gamers to be so needy and impatient that they have to know everything the developers are doing, and then crap all over them when they ALSO know that they're having to delay titles. Maybe if we'd sit back, enjoy what we have, and not be so anxious for once - they'd be able to relax a little bit and not feel so pressured to put out inaccurate release dates.

It depends, M&M, Fbats and some tanks will get you into pretty late game zerg territory. I mean you have mutas covered, zerglings covered, hydras covered, defilers are a pain but it can be done. Needless to say against P you will be instantly destroyed.

mass muta with an expanison and micro to take out all your scv's and you will have trouble, hope you can cliff my exp, but i doubt it i can micro mutas very fast and make sure to at least take out your tanks and guard cliff with scourge until i got 24+ muta available to guard exp plus cliffed lurkers

Uh, sorry sir your preordered was canceled. See we have a 20 year pre-order policy, your going to have to repay the fee for the game.

Yeah me too, I don't think people are familiar with Blizzard titles. They are all late, from what I remember the first starcraft was announced years in advance.

Heck I bet I was in elementary school when they announced it, and was released when I got to middle school. I enjoyed it through high school, and now their announcing the second one during my college years. Starcraft 2 is coming out when I graduate - I'm sure of it. Starcraft 3 (last one like always) is coming out when I get married.

Then when I have kids, their going to come out with the World of Starcraft Online and I'm going to be on eGO making a thread on this forum about what you guys think about the World of Starcraft and how my wife's complaining about it.

This is blizzard, this is how they roll...

Haha yeah, Blizzard games come in human-length generations. As long as they release a quality product though, I'll be happy.
 
I'm not shocked that it's been delayed. After all, look at how long the ORIGINAL StarCraft was delayed. It was announced in 1994 on the WarCraft II engine, then they got the new engine in 1995, and promised out by 1996 and it waited until 1998. Hell, look at EVERY Blizzard game, they've almost all been delayed like hell, but the product was almost always satisfying... 'Cept that PoS World of Warcraft of course. I think that the delay is a good thing, yah, I want the game badly, but I think it will be a better game for it.
