hmm i was lurking on forums when i looked in the shout box and this is what i saw " Stinky Wizzleteats: I cant wait for the google OS, google jsut might have what it takes to muscle linux onto mainstream computing " and i thought wow google is making an os, kool right must be good or bad. so i did some research and found a video [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkWY7S1JmQw[/ame]

after watching the video i thought wow the google os might give windows 7 a run for its money! Tell me what you guys think about the google os

That's actually Good OS aka gOS, not the Google Chrome OS.

gOS is a great Linux distro though. I ultimately prefer Ubuntu.

Alot of people are confusing gOS with the announced google OS.

Actually, I read up about it the same day they announced it (not to be competitive or anything) but the first one will be released with this year and will be meant for Netbooks only, after they test the success of that OS, they will move onto an OS that will compete with Freeware's Linux, Apple's Mac OS, and Microsoft's Windows.

Personally, I don't care what anyone else thinks but WINDOWS is the BEST (Windows XP!!!!)

Same here. And 7 isn't going to be a fail like vista, so i'll stick to it.

yeah windows 7 is nice, but as soon as chrome os is out I will setup on netbook since winxp on netbook not so great
