Well my name will be Striike on the Badlands server as well but... I went to log back in today and then I couldn't get back on Badlands on the trial account and my character was deleted. >.>

So are private servers illegal?

Private servers are more of a grey area, same with Emulators/Roms... they're not illegal, but are frowned upon. I didn't think there where any private servers for this game either, and if there are I can't see them being that great, this is a PvP game, not a PvE game, so the lack of player that most Private servers have will make this game rather boring on private servers.

Its more PvP? Really? For some reason I always fail at PvP in MMO's.

Anyways, I am going to make a Dwarf... dont know what server would be good...

I was horrible at PvP before playing this game, its quite easy to get into thinks to all the options for it. Good luck on your dwarf, don't roll Dark Crag if you're going order though.. there's enough order on already. =P

Badlands population is great IMO. Also alot of larger guilds have recently transfered into it.

Battle for badlands every Tuesday is a great way to get your T2 T3 toons leveled faster with exp and renown.

I would recommend it if you still can.
