URGENT! Need computer help! Can't log on steam!

So i tried logging on to my account and it keeps giving me a warning saying steam can't connect to the server. When i logged on my friends account, it worked... odd. Then i went to the steam website and that worked also. I had my brother log on my account from his computer and it worked, yet i cant log on to my account on my computer. Then I tried logging on on my laptop and that didnt work either. I can't figure this out... if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it.

This would be better off in the tech help section! Anywho, have you tried to google the problem? I'm sure somebody else has had the problem and has documented the way to go about fixing it.
