Worth buying? COH TOV

ToV basically offers you extra units which can replace old ones
It gives you more freedom to the game

I don't actually think it is worth the money. I think just having the original and Opposing Fronts is better value for money as all you get with Tales of valor is customizable armies and another campaign. (I dont play the campaign I mostly play multiplayer)

If they are to make another Company of heroes game I believe that they should add the russian army to the allies forces because then you could roll the germans with T-34's and awesome self propelled artillery. (but I have no idea what army to add to the germans side)

Russians and Italians, campaign would be the Russians crossing the section of the iced over don river held by the Italians.

Looks like Carmines already thought of the Russians and Italians thing before
And yeah, sounds good but I don't really know anything famous the Italians used
What would their army consist of? :confused1:

Hijacking thread here but anyways I thought the doctrines would be

Motorized Infantry, which has access to various types of light tanks and troop transports, late game anti tank would be the Semovente 90/53

Bersaglieri, Basically some of the most elite infantry in the world, would also have access to large amounts of motorcycles. Their antitank would be somewhat lackluster as a drawback to the incredible infantry, something like light at guns and anti tank rifles.

Lastly there would be the Blackshirts/CCNN, they would be similar to the Wehrmacht terror doctrine, being the Italian equivalent of the SS. Would probably be supported by Carro Armato P 40s which were pretty much the only heavy Italian tank.

The main Italian army would consist of the normal units, infantry and such no heavy tanks, at most late game medium tanks. However Italy would have access to early game tankettes such as the L3/35 and a nice anti infantry light tank in the form of the CV-33 which could be upgraded to carry a flamethrower similar to the flammenwerfer half track for the Wehrmacht.

I admire your ideas
You really thought this out didn't you? Very nice

I'd buy it if you have the first two, if not I'd go with those first. ToV did add some things but not a lot. The only reason I really got ToV was for the new game modes they added which are very fun.
