I saw the great offer for the Falcon on the main page and I so want one! I was wondering if anyone has one? Are all the drivers for it free? Anyone know how much the shipping is? I'm a little low on money right now. Just wondering. Thanks

Drivers I believe they are free, plus u get the drivers-cd with it, alsoI know a lot of eGO already have it, others just ordered it, about the shipping I believe its about 18 to 20 bucks, depends off-course were u live, but i think in the US its something close to that.

ya i ordered my self one im still waiting but i know it will be awesome!

i live in Denmark so i can't get one normally but i know a dear friend in the states who are willing to mail it to me :)

the novint falcon looks awesome and they are adding more drivers along the way, what i'm afraid of if is if Novint will go bankrupt. They gave us 100$ off, so i was thinking they don't have alot of money left, so they have to sell some soon.
i'm really hyped about this machine and waiting for mine, but will it support games that will come out in 2012? will the company last that long? and with the global money crysis going around, nobody is really buying stuff like this, if they can live without it.
my 2 cents on this.

Speaking of the falcon, can we get some reviews or thoughts on it from anyone that has one.

I am certainly interested in one of these, but I want to know what sort of gaming experience it actually provides, is it worth the money, and what games are even supported (as i do like to switch around games a lot and would not want an expensive controller that only works for one, or a small handful of games)

For the Offer, the shipping was $20 bucks for me.
But, that's across the states

drivers for valve games are free
drivers for some games dont exist and you need to buy a special copy of the game that supports the falcon (rare)
drivers are free for 70% of the action games out there
i cant think of any drivers that cost $
shipping is $20 USD

^hope that helped

I highly doubt that a company would simply halve the price of their flagship product if they were in danger; those have to be fairly expensive to produce due to the technology involved. If I remember correctly, the aim of the offer is to really get Falcons out into the spotlight, particularly due to the sheer size of eGO. In my opinion, it's actually a pretty shrewd move by Novint from a PR standpoint.

Somebody plays too many video games :P

lol the deal is 99$ plus tax and and shipping which includes 119$ and some change, and updates and everything are free comes with a install CD i believe, and you get the orange box with the bundle pack :) very good deal in my opinion :)

I ordered mine today, I'm too much of a geek to not have one. The immersion capabilities of haptics is just too cool of a concept. I took a game design class in college and took (and taught) computer classes on convergence. If it's half as cool as it could be, I'm likely to never leave the computer.

Hopefully game developers will add support for haptic technology, but then again, I guess eGO is supposed to be a driving force for getting the quantity of products out and attached to computers to show a demand for the Falcon.

I can't wait for it to arrive!

The deal totals out to some $120, but its with next-day shipping

Does the Falcon have a driver for ccs yet? or does it work with ccs at all?

Did it really take two to three days to ship? I was hoping that since I ordered mine early yesterday it would ship the same day, but they stated 2-3 business days.

I wanted to use it over the weekend, but it sounds like the next-day shipping may still make that a possibility.
