It's on the server list, but you are correct in the fact that it is locked. Tomnovint is currently playing on it, as well as other Falconers, so I'm assuming it's some Falcon-related event.

yeah, we have a Falcon game night, that is only for Falcon members. It's a lot of fun - if you have a Falcon you should join us. It was last night, but we generally play every Wednesday night. If any of you have a Falcon, you should join us.

FalconRyder, that's weird on Penumbra. One thing you might do is make sure it is completely uninstalled and then manually remove any leftover files, and try reinstalling again, as a thought. All of the Orange Box games except Half Life 2 work automatically if you have the latest Falcon drivers from our website installed. A download for our Halflife 2 mod, Haptics Life 2, can be found on our website under the games tab.

I read all of our customer support emails, and I saw Eric's response to you today. As he mentioned, if we can't get Penumbra working for you, we'll get you a substitute game.

yeah it was really wierd he said he's never heard of that error before but i'll see what i can do about it I just played haptic- life 2 and it was really fun harder to move around but i like the recoil of the machine gun! haha

That is a 3rd party Falcon game, so it isn't ours and therefore isn't in our control. That being said, I would point out two things in fairness. The company that licensed it and added support is constrained by a licensing agreement. They don't have the right to sell/give away a patch. Second, and maybe more importantly, in this case an awful lot of work went into the game and it is very different from the original. If they didn't sell it (since they are 3rd party), there wouldn't be any incentive to add support, and it wouldn't be an option.

Good thing I bought penumbra on a weekend deal for $5


Also, the company's coming out with a new game. It uses a similar system, but is based on a more medieval time frame. You should consider getting that game supported, seeing as how immersion is the basis of their engine, and is truly how they frighten you in the game. (BLACK PLAGUE WAS TERRIFYING D:, but in a good way )
