About the sever event idea's, I just have a few questions to go with a few possible ideas. Can event posts on the calendar be canceled. The reason I'm asking is that the calendar is always nearly empty minus 2 or 3 events a week. My thinking is with peoples personal lives, work, school, ect, if they can just post something when ever they know they will have the time to be their to run or administer the event. Lets say its 7 am , Im feeling the urge for sinjar nights tonight( as if I had the power to make it happen) so I go and post it on the calander for 6 pm.
Their could also be a smaller separate calendar just for the time frames of the day when bar or bas are usually hurting. Members or even polled events can be pluged in for those days and hours. 1) its could be a way to help retain members, or bring new members, 2 it can also be a good way to experiment with the new ideas during time frames when the server levels are already low so that we might find the next big thing.
Last thing, with the events, If their was a way to have 1 or 2 hour events and keep track of the stats just in that session. With this, could we have some sort of high score system. maybe a few different categories based on the different events. We have plenty of people who love point, and the ranking system. So in this area they would want to play, to beat RT's 203 shoot out high score from 3 weeks ago ( just an example if this was going on already), or someone wanted to get lucky and top Hammers 6 kill record with 1 single 203 shot. Someone mentioned in the last Round Table meeting the training map, where someone ran down the map and people shot at him, this could be like a rodeo, who can stay alive the longest, and its timed, and categorized within the different weapons used. Like Kc Shuffle Lasted 36 seconds against 10 rpgs. People like to beat records, set records, and challenges.
