Nintendo patents inflatable horseback riding peripheral

It's a patent. That doesn't necessarily mean that they will make it...though has been on a roll recently. So I wouldn't put this past them.

There are so many add-ons now.. Vitality sensor dosen't make much sense to me. Soon we will have like a new add-on to add 20 more slots to the wii so we can plug them all in.. going to have 10 wires connected to our bodies.

Wii motes are wireless... Bluetooth2.0 ftw

Eh, I ment to say plug into the Wii mote. Vitality sensor has to be plugged directly into the wii mote.

oohhhh in that case yeah.
except they have a wireless attachment for the wiimote too. if we start hooking up 30 peripherals to the wiimote.. most likely they would start utilizing that.

(you can have a wireless wiichuck for example)

The wire is the only thing that stops me from throwing the nunchuck through the screen :P

thats what i had envisioned when i read the title as well...
i was sorely disappointed :(

WHY does Nintendo need to make
1) This.
2) Something that measures your pulse. WHY do you need something that tells you how excited you got when you were playing Legend of Zelda, because you would never play the games for the vitality sensor(I wish that was a functionality, then it would have a purpose)

it is a functionality... remember, some of Wii's biggest sellers are the fitness and exercise "games"

Don't worry, we know Lucas is working on a WiiSaber I'm sure. And soon there will have to be the Wii casino, where you can throw dice.

The one I am seriously worried about is Wii kayaking. Just imagine how many people will drawn/strangulate themselves figuring it out!
