Possible virus scam

The other day I was asked by a fellow eGO member (Or so I thought) to try out his CS:S skin manager. I agreed thinking nothing of it. The program did not work so i deleted it. When i tried to add the person as a friend he ignored me making me suspicious. I asked a friend of mine to ask him why he had done that, his responce was his account had been hacked. This then made me realize the program was most likely a scam . For the past few days I thought nothing of it untill this morning when logging on to an Instant Message program the same little box for the Skin Manager popped up and quickly disapeared after I had entered my information :scared: .

So, I am not saying to trust noone and never help anyone out, I am simply asking you to be careful and to try to make sure the person your talking to is legitimate.

Well, things like this happen but chances of a real eGO member doing this is VERY unlikely. Some random dude probably put on eGO tags and asked you to do the stuff and the program was probably some thing that takes your acc info. I've heard about this kind of stuff. Well anyway, sorry about the problem but I reassure you this has nothing to do with eGO.
