Agreed. At $280 for the 32 GB, it's a great alternative to the overpriced iPod Touch. I'm saying goodbye to my Touch 1G and getting this as soon as it comes out.

lol u post this now.........Zune HD was talked about since like last year XD. But i understand because of the nearing launch date of suppossedly September 15 http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/11/zune-hd-coming-september-15th-says-leaked-display-stand/ and all the news starting to roll out about it.

It definitely is a beauty and they probably would have made even more if they turned it into a phone
A lot of talk about how much people wish it would be a phone but ohs wells. It will probably draw some marketshare from the ipod touch.

The Zune looks interesting. It's the (first) gadget built using Nvidia's new Tegra Chip. It'll play HD video on its screen, and also plays HD video (720p) on your HDTV (monitor, whatever).

Haven't seen a price yet; if it's not outrageous it look like a great new player

I never thought there'd be a desirable Zune, but looks like they pulled it off. I'm content with my iPhone for music though. Can't beat app store games and functionality!

i actually really love my current zune (last generation 120 gig) It works fine for and doesnt freeze like the previous generation zunes. I have both zune and 3 ipods, and i prefer my zune.

I have had my eye on the zune hd for months now lol.

Of course, thats the technology market. Companies will try to overdo the competitor. Ipod Touch was countered by the Zune HD. Since the Zune HD offers native HD the next ipod will have it. Its probably the best thing to happen because apple releases ipods every year, making the older generations cheaper for consumers (Overtime)
