Everything up to 7 was good imo but after that they went downhill

Final Fantasy 6 was my first forray into serious gaming and gaming as a form of story telling vs. puzzle solving and hand eye rump cordination.

I even wrote a term paper about it for my lit class...heh...

5 has an awesome job system with awesome abilities. A 3D remake of it would be awesome.

I enjoy FF Tactics, all the jobs you could play an skills that went with them made the game last forever. Plus the storyline was gorgeously well written.

by the way what ever happend to aeris is the end of the game(i havent completed it yet my self so i wouldnt know) but in the final fantasy VII movie she only has a part in the ending and it seems like she is some sort of a spirit or something...

phew defeating the midgar zolom in the swamps in ff7 sure is hard, it has 4000 hp and have an attack that causes 1200 dmg which means it can fry my team in one shot i cant get its hp below 1100, can anyone please give me an advice here on how to beat him?

Never played one. (DONT HURT ME)

AHHHH!! *charges at Cut Chem!st with a Gun Blade*

They're all pretty epic for different reasons. The ones that stand out for me are 7,9,10,12 and the very first one on NES...'cuz I like keep it old school sometimes.

FFIV, i just love the music (especially the battle theme >.>).

To lt. Thomas...

Get a chocobo from the chocobo farm. You're not supposed to fight the midgar zolom, you're supposed to run past it faster than it can catch you. If you want to fight it later, it has an enemy skill that is a pretty powerful Fire-All attack called Beta that you can get.

From favorite to least favorite:

7, 10, 12, 6, 5, 9, 8, 3, 1, 2. Still need to play 4, i have it though.

I'd but FF Tactics Advance somewhere between 12 and 6.

ff3 (the number for it in the states atleast) it's the one with Kefka oh man that little man's laugh was awesome on the SNES.

I've only played X and XII all the way through, and I very much loved both of them. Maybe some day I'll get around to playing the classics, but I don't have the time to invest into an RPG.

VI was the first one I played and I absolutely love it.

I am playing through V and it has grown on me so much since I started it. The job system is beautiful and I'm quite surprised it wasn't used in later additions.

After I finish V I hope to continue in III. I was trying to play through both but I would get so confused by them.

((I would love 3D DS remakes of V and VI!))

Trust me when I say, I hate Final Fantasy. I hate the series' guts. There is but one exception: Final Fantasy 6 (AKA Final Fantasy 3.) The ONLY Final Fantasy game I cared for. Hell, it's only one of two J-RPG's I've ever liked. The other being "Chrono Trigger."

Before I get rushed at by all you FF fans, I will say this: As much as I dislike the games, I do admit they genuinely have talent in its development team, and the music is definitely great as well. I just get bored after 5 minutes usually. It's just not mah kind of game.
