My review of fallout 3

When i first was thinking about buying the game i was a little edgy because i don't really like laser guns, mutants, post apocalyptic worlds. I never was really fond of those kind of games. That was until i got fallout 3.

When i first got the game i was incredibly excited. I ripped open the packaging and installed it and was playing. On my first play though I was like. Wow what a waste of money. But that was because i rushed right through the main story, and was a noob and didn't know were the good weapons were, side quests. On my second play though I really started to realize how great this game was. I was completing missions and side quests with great pleasure.

Graphics 9.7/10

This games graphics are STUNNING when turned up to high/very high. You can gaze into the distance and view the entire wasteland world with high detail. The Character models are very detailed, and so are the weapons.

Story 10/10

The story is fantastic. Every side quest you do has a purpose towards the game, even if it is just giving you better items or a little help in the main quest.

Gameplay 9.5/10

The gameplay is amazing overall. Blowing a ghoul's head off with a shotgun never felt so great. Either choose to go in guns blazing, or take well aimed sniper shots with VATS to go in silently.

AI 10/10

The AI in this game is amazing. A un-silenced gunshot can wake up an entire room of sleeping raiders, and a silenced one doesn't. When enemies bump into you they can tell you are there.

Overall: 9.7/10

This game is simply AMAZING. I would pay $100 for this game if i had to.

The game is really awesome I bought it on Boxing Day and was stunned by the liberty of what you can do in the game, I finnished all the side quest and still playing it because some many things are out there to be find out, like a T-51B Power Armor. The downfall of the game is the Game For Windows LIVE system witch is really buggy, I cannot access it, many people like me cant, after that DLCs, a really great and fun idea wich make the story more interresting, but now comes the bad part, it cost money 10$ USD a single DLC or 800 Microsoft points, afterthat comes again the Game For Windows LIVE system witch is used to activate the DLCs, it works on some computers but for others no.

But the game just itself like I said Is really awesome, and I would tell people who likes RPGs to buy it.

I got the collector's ed back when it came out (pre-ordered in fact). I played it passionately and devotedly for a while, I think I invested 40 or so hours or more in it. Eventually though, I beat the game and just felt tired of it. That's how it always is for games that have endings for me, something clicks in my mind that tells me I'm done with the game, and then I never feel like going back to it after that. I miss so many sidequests that way.

But while I did play it, it was an engrossing and incredible experience. Great game overall, with a disappointing ending.

It's a good game, but I have to disagree with you on this. The background story of Fallout is great, but Fallout 3's main quest is one of the worst stories ever told through any medium.

Yeah when you really think about it there wasn't a whole lot of story at all. Boo hoo, dad has gone missing. What could he be up to!? Oh. Water. Ok.
