A Work In Progress

Hey guys. I love the previous signature I had, but I've been wanting to change it for a while and today I started making a new one. It is here as well as in my signature:

I know it still needs a lot of work and compared to most people's signatures, I think it sucks majorly, but if I could get some input on it, I think it could turn out really nice. I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Oh, and yes, I adore Mike Oldfield!

I really only used these two pictures:

The base.

The outline of the woman at the bottom.


I did everything else with gradients, feathering, and few filters for the text.

Pretty cool. You should try boldening up the text a little bit to make it stick out a little more and then making the reflection a little stronger, just not too strong. And maybe have it more in the water so it looks like it's reflecting in the water. Other than that, nice.

Alright, I made a couple of minor changes. First, I lowered the words so that the reflection would be completely in the water. Also, I know that "Carried" is higher than "shadow...," but I'm afraid if I break the horizontal plane it's in, I'll be taking away from the picture. Secondly, I did some distorted transforming to make the reflection seem more like it's following the water rather than just being there.

So, are there any critiques out there?
