So I'm curious if anyone has ever played the game other than me in eGO.
If you haven't seen/heard of it, it's an SOE based game (wait, don't hit the back button yet, they don't OWN the gamem just run all the launchers and whatnot
) and was developed by flyinglab software. It's the only big, if you can call it that with a straight face, MMO to be based on the high seas of the 1720s Carribean and you play French, Pirate, Spanish, or English capitans and blah blah blah... I don't want to make you read that much
Basically:
Wooden ships
100% player driven economy
Cannons
Swashbuckling
standard pay-to-play MMO rates
Tactical at-sea comabat
A custom user content system (design your own flag and sails)
Great visuals (examples):
Now, because of a debaucle with launch, there aren't that many people playing. I personally just renewed my subscription for another month to see if I can get back into it. So if anyone would like to help me and maybe some in-game society (clan, guild, corp, what ever you want to call them) let me know. I'll be French and waiting.
