Well, I've always been interested on how people picked their name.

Mine is my grandfathers middle name.

I randomly used the name Kognito-P98 in battlefield 1942, which was the first FPS game I ever played. I thought Kognito-P98 sounded like fancy gun and therefor a cool name.

Also when I joined eGO I first joined as Kognito, then forgot my password. So it ended in Kognit0.

i got mine after playing through one of the worst games Terminator Salvation [Only 4 diffrent types of enemies] and i saw that the Aerostat was the coolest ones next to the Mototerminators

Uh, when I first played CS:S I needed a name so I chose a temporary name which was Rice Eater, people started knowing me as Rice Eater so I just stuck with it.

when i joined the PMS (Pandora's Mighty Soldiers) Clan, CSS division, i couldnt take the name Sakura (because its been taken), so i just took Shinigami from Bleach.

I started as Super "Polish" Man...Then scrapped the Super Man during the beginning of CS 1.6 when I join a Cal-M team that had a ridiculously long name and it wouldn't fit with my original name.

After I left that clan Polish alone on the scoreboard just looked boring, so I decided to put something in front of it. I thought to myself...myself, what kind of Polish would you like to see...

A flying one of course.

I saw a guy in Cs 1,6 who name was Symantec and my name was Ecl1ps3**. When i was playing then i got Symantech sounds Great. Then everybody sayed Lol you taked name from Norton 360. Then i saw norton 360 creator is Symantec

well my full nickname is Big John Thunder, but that was given to me in 8th grade im now a college sophmore, it was given to me by a baseball coach but it kinda faded out for a bit but once i started playing football in highschool the kids that were on the baseball team brought it back but it spread even more, people started shortening it to either big john or john thunder so i like john thunder better so i went with that.

i was thinking of a user name one day, and I chose "an epic waste of time". but then I realized that sounded like "An Epic of Time Wasted" by Avenged sevenfold. so a few words substituted later it came out an epic mistake.

I've always liked the character Zero from the Megaman series, I've been using this name for a long time. My full name is technically Zero71193 but I cut off the 93. the 71193 is my birthday: July(7) eleventh(11).

Halo was the game for me back then. My name was Spartan117 (too common). So I changed it to Mjolnir (the name of the Halo armor, also Thor's Hammer).
