ventrillo mic help

hi i have a little problem with my mic, i have got a few complaines i should use a headset when im on ventrillo due to a slight delay on my microphone causing people to hear echoes of their own voices when i use the ptt(Push to talk)

if anyone knowes how i can reduce the mic delay it would be nice if you can tell me how.. thanks

Also is it a USB mic or analog?

Oh well in that case, you need to wear headphones. The mic of your laptop is picking up what's coming out of your speakers and this creating an endless echo. Just wear headphones when you use your mic in vent.

Nope, the simple fix is to put headphones. Not a big deal.
