Catalyst 9.8 Out Early

For those of you who are lucky to be at Quakecon 2009, you must have already gotten access to Catalyst 9.8, for those of you at home you would normally have gotten access to the latest Cat on Mon. But if you had been watching AMD on twitter (I know some of you hate it) or their blogs you would have gotten it too. Fortunately for you our birds were tweeting when they happened to catch AMD?s latest tweet.

Not a clue, a bunch of people have reported getting framerate increases in games though.

It's mostly DX10/10.1 and Crossfire fixes/performance updates/upgrades. It also adds in some OpenGL stuff and something with Linux support but I'm not sure if it's out yet.
