I'd like to express my gratitude towards eGO, because it was just a few months ago when I was a wee little pub just looking for a group to hang out with...

Now I'm getting a result I never would have expected...I'm getting better at Counter Strike: Source playing with you guys. Through the first months of playing with the eGO groupies I was like...a noob. Truth be told I wasn't doing any good, but as I stayed in the servers longer even if it had no mercy, killing me every round I started to get better and getting kills more easily, I developed friends that helped me out when I was having problems with my gaming. And later I was pretty decent at it instead of holding my team back. I was getting positive scores and heck even on the top of the scoreboards (Not Bragging, seriously.) And the events we get each day...PURE GENIUS! Thanks to the Event Coordinators busting their heads to give us the enjoyment we get. Also my love for scrimming started when you guys gave us scrim training, I was surprised at how competitive I got in it, Thanks seaNNN and the rest for that yo.

Also thanks for the 2 admins who got me in this clan in the first place in a random server! Pyrogurl and Zergspower. :]

Yeah I was the same way, I used to be terrible at cs, but after playing on ego servers a lot, I met a ton of new friends and now am close to the top of hlstats. EGO has done great things for many gamers around the world.

well ive played on eGO servers for 1 and 1/2 years now and they are by far the BEST and MOST FRIENDLY community i have ever seen. my thanks to Some Random Guy and bandgeek to being my best friends in eGO.

Your story honestly sounds like the one I will probably be telling in the future myself. I started here maybe a week or less ago, and I've already pretty much gotten hooked to the overall atmosphere. While I can't say that I've started really getting to know anyone yet, I can say that I feel generally accepted and know that I can ask just about any member for help. An example would be tonight's FBG Sunday. There wasn't any drama or any other "OMG THIS IS SRS BZNS" junk. It was just what it was intended to be, fun.

I remember when my very good childhood friend told me about eGO. Life changing moment, there.

I love ego, it's so nice to be safe. Sometimes when I'm afraid to talk or something like that, I just think that I have the power. I can kick these guys or call in an O to ban them if they're being descriminatory. If someone's getting picked on, I can make a difference.
