yes CounterSrike is pretty simple and straight forward but the ammount of effort they put into making this game is superb. The graphics are great, and realism is awesome, i love the way the bodies fly around when they get blown or when you gun someone down the way the body falls to the floor in allsorts of positions is soooo good. love it

That would be a source engine thing.
The hostages themselves can't notice the bullets, the engine would have to take care of all that.

also CSS is losing gaming players because it hasn't been updated and these other games are coming out, so i think they'd be stupid for not releasing a CS2 within the next year. if they did it would be such a huge shock to the gaming world that this myth of a game finally came out and people would FLOCK to buy it. making CSS all popular again and stuff.

My DoD keeps updating so I'm guessing they still support DoDsource too. CS2 should be really good, they havnt come out with a new counter strike in a long time

I think they are in a strange dilemma because if they just made the exact same game but with better visuals and physics it would be boring but if they changed the game play it would be very different from what people would consider to be counterstrike

I don't think they will do that and if they were they probably would've done it in CZ because CS:S is just a fancy looking upgrade of 1.6 so hopefully in another counter strike...on a day for off...in a land we can only dream about with a new CS...hopefully
