everytime i try to log on the 2fort Tf2 servers it displays a message box that says


"Server is enforcing consistency for this file:
particles\water_dx80.pcf"

can anyone help ?:crying:

I would suggest that you move the file or change its name. A new one will download upon connection and should fix the problem.

This is happening to quite a few people. Apparently it tends to happen when updates come out. They did release a minor update a couple hours ago. I'm just going to wait it out... I think the servers need to be updated.

Yes, the servers need to be updated.

The error message you are getting is when the server has a different version of a file than you do.
