today i have seen a person trying 2 get maul verified . on this server were several admins , and e's . Yet noone even offered to help him out when he asked for assistance . Guys i understand that we love gaming but dropping it for 5 min to help him out wouldnt hurt would it ?

Here is what persisted ..
empty (2): ok
=(eGO)=? HeX: empty to add your steam id it will be 0:0:4620622 paste that in ,
=(eGO)=? HeX: to maul
empty (2): im trying
empty (2): 0:0:4620622
=(eGO)=? HeX: once done make sure you leave and rejoin an ego server
=(eGO)=? HeX: and its not working ?
empty (2): Error: The STEAM ID '0:0:4620622' is not valid.
=(eGO)=? HeX: let me look
=(eGO)=? HeX: gimme a sec
empty (2): ok
=(eGO)=? HeX: STEAM_0:0:4620622
empty (2): ok done
empty (2): now what?... whit my maul id?

after this he rejoined ego servers and was all set . But heres what gets me . Noone else could help with this .. ? at all ? at least offer some help . The guys trying his best to follow our requirments and noone stops to give him a hand . I know all you e's know how to register in maul , or you wouldnt be ane . So cmon guys Give an extra hand here ! please. The ignoring in my opinion is a real turnoff . I wanan join eGo yet noone in it will help me out ? .. lets be more supportive guys !
 
i know when i was trying to get verfied none of my e eG or eGO friends were helping me, but good ol' spammin got there attention :D
 
Well, there are like 4 stickies in the recruitment section and one goes step by step showing how to do everything exactly.

But yeah, if they need help they should be able to just ask and add eachother as friends and get it set up over steam chat instead of spamming questions all over the chat box when we're paying attention to the game.
 
I once heard hex helped a guy in the servers to get maul verified.

rofl sniper ! and yea , sure it shows ya how , as do many things but good ol fashoned help wins again ! remember guys , just because they ask for help doesnt always mean they need it . Think of it as a test if you will . Hmm should i join ego ... lets see how helpfull they are ! guys , i cant get maul verified , can someone help ! please ! help guys .. wow 4 times ignored .. why shall i join ? so i can get ignored .. Guys were growing so rapidly , lets be personable here .

Acctually just because someone acctually complained about it before. For this reason i acctually do my best to punctuate very wrong . Take that whoever complained to me about it long ago !
 
I completely agree, as part of eGO (especially for eG and above) it's our jobs to help people. Now, that being said, it isn't rare for the chat to be spammed full of useless chit chat or with some guy spamming MEDIC! because he lost 2 hp.
 
Yush, I was there too. =o

I did try to help him with the console, but right after that HeX had had enough and offered help through Steam so I left it with him. It did take me a while to notice him though, since I dont keep an eye on the chat at all times. D= I've gotten more used to using just voice chat.

man that is soo true, most people get too busy ingame to see someone needs help its sad tbh IMO.
 
Yeah this happened to me at first on Gravelpit .__.

But I got help eventually :D
 
Wow. I know this is kind of random, but I used to be an admin in another community, and I was banned for posting something almost exactly like this. eGO is love in internet form.

I'm always up for helping people out. I'll be sure to remember this!
