Fallen Earth may be pretty fun, it seems like Fallout 3 but MMO format, the graphics could be a little bit better but, for everyone who got champions online open beta key, go grab the Fallen Earth open beta key and try it out, its on fileplanet aswell. the game looks pretty interesting, and i give internet high fives to everyone who has preordered or going to buy Aion

i played the closed beta last summer, action clunky, enemys too strong... unless they nerfed alot of it im not going to recommend it.

I was playing Fallen Earth yesterday and I have to say that its ALRIGHT its not my cup of tea. Its basically Fallout 3 like Unholyreign said. IF you liked Fallout 3 you will most likely like this game as well. I keep hearing as well that Icarus Studios were the original owners of the Fallout franchise before they sold it to Bethesda, that being said I can see why Fallen Earth is basically Fallout.

Black Isle Studios produced Fallout 1 and 2. Micro Forte produced Fallout: Tactics, and Interplay themselves (who had published the other three) developed Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel for the XBOX.

The liscense was then sold to Bethesda (who now owns all of them) and they made Fallout 3.


Icarus Studios doesn't even have a Wikipedia page.

FE looks okay, was hoping for more of a F3 type game but doesnt look like that even though different makers but still it could have been closer to F3 gamplay.

Aion preorded , been in 2 CBs and am addicted to the game

I actually just found out about this game today. I downloaded it while I was at the theater and now it's been inspecting my local files for like 30 minutes.... It looks pretty interesting. I'll do a beta review soon.

Holy crap. This game is probably the absolute worst MMO I have ever played. I can name like 5 free MMO's that are far more well crafted and more interesting than this game. I honestly can't believe they're going to release this game so soon. It has constant bugs, bad graphics (maxed out), terrible controls, unintuitive gameplay, and just overall bad design. I really can't say anything good about this game... I'm sorry but after waiting like 3 hours for the game to actually decide to let me start playing, after downloading for 3 hours, I'm contemplating calling the studio and asking for my time back at minimum wage rate. That game is just horrible. I honestly am going to call them ask them not to release that game for their sakes, and those that would be tricked into buying a copy.

Please don't waste your time playing this game, or downloading it and installing it.

Fallen Earth was fun and all but it started out WAY too slow for me :<

The crafting system was cool, but faction changes at like level 20, having to use zip guns and silly melee weapons for who knows how many levels, and the quests that told you to get stuff but it didn't tell you how made it boring D:

Well i got it running fine after messing with the updater and actual game launcher (there are like 3 .exe files in the FallenEarth folder). But when i started, even with lowest possible everything (gfx/sound) the game still lagged like crazy. Like every other frame would skip so i would just skip instead of move gracefully or turn gracefully...so melee combat was next to impossible... bad game with a cool idea IMO (just like CrimeCraft huh -.-)
