What tactics do you guys think are effective in css?Such as flash, nade, flash and rush,or camp or just run in spraying(not a very good one)If you think you have a very effective tactic or way of owning the opposing team post it here.

depends on the map man, but one tactic is to smoke the area you are rushing, flash it TWICE, then nade spam about 3 nades and rush in. seemed to work for our CAL team. :)

Lets say the maps were talking about are dust 2 and office :)

well in office ( i hate dust 2) as t most of them camp controll room. In days i feel suicidal i wait in controll room then run arround the back ( were the other hostages are ) then shoot them with mah ak. Tip as ct DONT RUSH THE STAIRS IN GRAGE!!!!

Using predetermined tactics are likely to get you killed take you to places that you probably don't want to go. Just figure out where the enemy is headed (or make the best guess you can) and then don't go there. However, here are some things that I've noticed work for usual "troop movements"; don't overuse them though, because the whole point is that they're unexpected.

If you're desperate on Dust2 and you don't know where to expect the enemy, go from mid up through tunnels as a CT (if you don't get sniped, you'll probably be fine since most T's in tunnels go toward B. Enjoy your backstabbing :D) or go mid to B as a T. If you're expected you have no chance, and if you're not it'll work amazingly well.

Office, as a CT the front office is usually a safe place to enter. For T's, one thing I don't usually recommend is camping long hall. Of course, either team can rush garage, but that generally comes down to whichever team has more people. The T's usually get their first though, so it can be harder for CTs.

Dont buy any grenades just use m4/ak and strafe+3round burst their head.

Yea if you are t's on office and you rush garage like 7 times in a row successfully ct's wont go but if you go 7 time unsuccessfully id go office as they woudnt be expecting it then surround garage. :)

on office if you get a good spawn rush far office you'll dominate everything. while you're rushing you throw a flash out the window and you'll kill everybody that goes up stairs and everything, its amazing if you pull it off

Aim for the Head.

I think I gave that advice in another thread ;)

You need to really play... learn where you suck/are doing bad at...
and watch the people that are killing you (if it's constantly just a couple people) and spectate them to learn.
If you're just dieing from everyone... that means you don't know how to aim probably... or use radar... etc etc...

If you'd like some good tips for specific locations on dust2 or office... ANYONE... Feel free to PM me or talk to me through steam when I'm on. They're the 2 maps I probably know best... I'll teach ya stuffz

If you've got the reflexes for it, long hall can be a safe haven.
However, if you dont, your gonna get naded into nothingness

attend our BT sessions or get a hold of an instructor to show you the ropes.
