Hey guys, the other night my old video card (GeForce 7600GS) died so I have been offline for a few days. Today I went to BestBuy and purchased a GeForce GTS 250.

The card runs well so far. The only problem I have with it is that my case, a cube, is too short for the power supply connector so I can't slide my internals all the way in, which isn't too bad, I'll just blast my PC with some canned air every couple of weeks.

I planned on buying a new GPU for ModernWarfare2 anyway so I suppose it worked out well, this is the first time I've had a modern video card as well, never been able to run current games on high settings before.

PS: Still need to buy some superglue for my mouse key <_<

Yeah, I was in the server when you said "wow, the heli has a shadow" or something like that lol. It's nice to be able to see some of the eye candy isn't it ;)

The gts250 will be fine for MW2 because it is using the COD4 engine. If you can run COD4 fine, you are set for MW2.

you should be able to get an extension plug and cable for your power supply cable that is too short . Try googling it.

if your video card came with the adapter for powering your video card from the hard drive type plugs that may extend the power cable enough to reach the video card as well.

Finally you will be able to keep up with my score with that new video card.
