I did some experimenting with Linux Ubuntu on my mom's Dell dimension 2400 and I'm having some problems getting it to connect to dial up ( I like Ubuntu but it has very little dial up support) My mom has been hit by hard times and I promised her i would have it hooked up so she could use the internet she signed up for. Well I have given up on getting Linux for connect so I'm going to try Windows 7 RC on it ( my modem has auto install drivers for Windows). The main problem is i realized I need the 32-bit version the day after the download stop being available. If anyone has this already downloaded or in any way that they can get it to me it would be much appreciate, please let me know. Thanks

BTW, Linux.....I know......

I dont have the 32 bit, but I have the 64 bit ISO for it. I don't know how I would get it to you, and also, you'd need a key for it. If you've got solutions to those, let me know.

I can send you a RAR of the files for the 32 bit CD as well as a key if you want it.

Retail comes out really soon. It's already available to people with MSDN access. Just ask a buddy from a college, or something. That's how I'm getting mine.

Msdn

Whats MSDN, cuz I'm in college right now, and thanks genpatton7 you can send to my email, which is the same as my name on here just with yahoo.com at the end.

I'm working on a way to upload the files, they are still too big for megaupload. I'll have them to you by the end of the day.

I know there are alot of people out they that have a different opinion of the topic but I just don't pirate. I put the eye patch away a long time ago, especially since I now work at a place whose business is hurt when people pirate movies, games and music. lol

Torrenting isn't exactly pirating; it depends on what you do with it.

If you already have a key, then torrenting would be better than getting it directly from Microsoft; P2P is always more efficient than HTTP downloads, especially directly from MS.

You haven't responded to my email...torrenting the file isn't illegal, since the .iso file is free to begin with. If you don't want the torrent I linked you to, PM/email me back and I'll work further on the RARing. I also provided you with a key directly from Microsoft, so in no way is this "pirating."

Thanks for explaining that to me guys, I have known many people that pirate all the time so I've always just been kinda jumpy when I hear words like P2P or torrent LOL. This guy I met in a store once said he gets his video games from a "special friend".

p2p and torrents have a lot of legit uses you know a lot of indie band and small software companies rely on torrents to get there stuff out because they cant afford servers to host it on.
