I used to play this, I don't anymore because I don't want to pay for it lol. I'll join if someone wants to pay for my members subscription :P
 
lol i used to play runscape, i never paid for it, i seriously gave up after leveling up my smithing into steel, getting halfway through steel, hearing about this place thats easy to get tons of coal, then finding out its members only, made me just overly frustrated with the game and quit >.>

it mas my scheme to make a ton of money on that, get a ton of runes with said money possibly selling adamantine/mythril, get armor/weapons for myself and i'd be set till high levels...members only areas simply crushed my dreams.
 
Used to play that game, level 81 but since I got bored I stopped playing. miss the old days
 
Ah... I remember RS... I remember being around 80 with some uber expensive armor and other stuff.. then my account got hacked, jagex didn't do anything, and I quit rofl (this was years and years ago)
 
Congrats. Certain skills have been made many times easier to level over time. I've not been a huge fan as it tends to work against me since updates tend to be released after I spend time doing something a bit tedious. I've not been keeping track of things lately as I've not been playing as much. Even though I think the game has gone completely downhill since the implementation of trade limits, removal of PVP wilderness in every world, and a lot of other things <.< I suppose I shouldn't complain too much since I'm stubborn enough to continue playing once in a while.

have you checked out pvp worlds? they seem similar to wilderness except its the whole world. You may get a rare drop from them as well, its all based on chance and odds now though.... You may also get something your enemy was carrying its not garanteed. I miss the old pk'ing days of runescape...
 
Yea I liked the old wilderness. The way they did PVP as an attempt to bring it back, was a gigantic mistake. The way they engineered the drops, risking 75k and killing someone with 25K, could turn a small amount of money into a huge amount, all by doing basically nothing. I had helped a friend do it as they bought some junk from me. I risked my 25k and they had accumulated a full drop potential. They ended up with 9m after killing me until their drop potential was reduced to 0. It was exploited so much and I much preferred the traditional wilderness north of the free world barriers.
