You might want to think about retracting that statement.

Anywho, what happened to the WTB matches? I thought that they were fun, but I suppose it may have been dropped because they were not open for all members.

lol i knew there would be at least one person that would pick something wrong with my post....

Im a medic a lot and i just dont think it would be that fun doing medic vs medic but idk... i guess we could try it lol.

anyone else have any "constructive critisism" in my previous post?

competitive heavy sandvich eating imo

on a more serious note, a pyro dodge-ball tourney (5v5) with a buy in of 5k casino cash per team winner takes 75% and 2nd 25%; however, getting arena mode to allow team switch would be a pain. (preferably single rocket dodge-ball)

@ smoochee - I just had to, don't take it personally.

@ OSVG - Would you like a crit or an uber sandvich?

@ smooch: don't let woodstock fool you, he actually cares :O

@ Woodstock: the key to trolling a post is to give your opinion, and then contribute to it. :P

@OSVG: That sounds like alot of fun.

@ smoochee - blah blah blah not important stuff

^ wow woodstock you are so mean to smoochee

Crit taste better but uber are healthier

What do you guys think of a 2 hour event?

What we've been thinking (not official yet) of doing is having a basketball event where the teams are random and there would be 3-4 people on each team.

Instead of having this being spread out over a few weeks, like the Tf2 League, have it so it's just compressed into one event, probably once per month. There's still kinks and other details that need to be worked out, but I really want to know if you guys could handle it being 2 hours?

Needless to say, this is a must during march madness. Other times of the year is fine. What is the time limit we are looking at per match?

That sounds pretty awesome actually.

Yes! I love them, I've spoken with a couple people, and almost all of them agree, that as an E, recently. The E vs EG dogtag scrim was one of the most fun events they've done so far as an E.

I'd love to see the more competitive side in people, it's great fun, and really teaches people stuff that they can go and apply to the upcoming league, or even the servers themselves.

PLEASEEEE do more competitive events!

To further clarify - when I say competitive events, I mean vanilla events with a goal. Whether it be a tag scrim, grudge match, or some random ??? vs. ??? scrim. Vanilla is key.

I definitely think that a 2 hour event would be awesome. I often thought that our normal 1 hour events ended too quickly.

I'm for this one.

I think I'd like to get into competitive, as soldier or scout. Do they have competitivie spies? Oh well, I would get owned as a spy in competitive. PM me about how I can get into it please!

I was planning on doing 15 minute rounds, with a 9 point cap limit or a 7 point-lead mercy rule, haven't decided what would be better yet.

In past events (like monday madness, for example) we have done things like hide n' seek or freeze tag for a brief period. I think if this could be more organized as a competitive event it might be pretty fun. (e.g. use a larger map than was used for those events.) I'm down for anything competitive though as long as it is on a Friday or weekend day b/c school just started back up.

One other suggestion I have is to make it so the people who sign up are randomly assigned to teams or something of that nature so that relatively balanced teams can be ensured. After all, a competitive event isn't really competitive if one team is just repeatedly and mercilessly slaughtered.

I play one of two ways: Having fun and just dying, or I play hardcore competitive to get to the top of the lists. I'm usually hardcore competitive when it's called for, so I love it.. just haven't gotten into a league team yet. ><
