Your Main Class and How You Play Them.

engie. . . avatar and sig make that obvious. lately i've been dabbling in spy on gravel pit. i keep it even with backstabbing and sapping . . . or the fun sap backstab on engies :D

I'm one of the rare players that will do any and everything for his team. I will take up any roll that the team is low on and will perform the duties as best as I can. My play-style, though, is ultra-aggressive across the board. I love to push and will continually lead the charge into enemy territory with reckless abandon. My tactics with each class are as follows.

Scout - I will hit and run enemies and try to complete objectives when I can. In open maps like Granary, Turbine, Gravelpit, and Fastlane I like to circle around and attack Heavy/Medic combos and pick off Snipers and Demos where they are camping. I will also attack Soldiers aggressivly, using double-jump and evasion to kill them. In close-quarters maps I usually like to attack enemies from behind or the side if possible, I'll pass up killing to complete the objective though.

Soldier - As a soldier there is never a moment where I'm not moving forward. I will attack any and all enemies regardless of class. I like to Rocketjump to change levels and attack from above if I can. I also like to clear and capture points.

Pyro - I typically assist teammates by airblasting projectiles away and putting fires out. I also like to harass Scout, Engineers, Snipers, and Spies by setting them on fire with my flare gun and leaving them to burn. I'll take on Soldiers and Demos but will usually pass on Heavies.

Demoman - I usually pick a point to choke the enemy and will take out as many enemies as I can before I move to another point. I target engineers and their buildings first and foremost. I love to kill scouts with the grenade launcher, it's just a satisfying kill.

Heavy - I run around screaming for a medic and lead both of us into the enemy spawn.... No seriously. I like to take the lead and have my teammates follow behind me, the sound of my minigun usually indicates a whirling, bullet-riddled doom for the other team. I usually act as team captain when I'm a heavy.

Engineer - Much like the demo I will find a chokepoint and camp it to all hell. I tend to be a defensive engineer so I'll usually build around the spawn or intel (if playing CTF.) I like to mix things up sometimes and place my sentry in enemy territory as an act of defiance. =D

Medic - As a medic I focus on hurt or burning players first, then I will heal Heavies, Soldiers, and Demos. Next are Pyros, Snipers, Snipers, and Spies, finally Scouts. I'll overheal all teammates I pass so Engineers will get healed sooner or later. I usually use the normal Medigun with the Blutsauger and Ubersaw. I'm a pretty basic medic but it gets the job done.

Sniper - I'm a bit of a tricky sniper. I don't have good "aim" but I have good reflexes and have a good twitch shot, so I can pull off some ridiculous shots if given time to set up. I also like to snipe in unexpected places. The hallway between Spawn and C/L at Blackmesa has seen me snipe a few enemies. I'm generally not good in 1v1 sniper battles, so I tend to move around to a lot of different places to throw enemies off.

Spy - I do the basic spy stuff, run around sapping sentries and stabbing baddies. I use a lot of different tactics as a spy. If I told you all of them I'd have to kill you...but I'd probably do that anyway. =P

Hmm, my main class would be engy (yay idle program), but on a more serious note my main classes right now are spy and scout. I am a decent spy on most maps, and an excellent one on a few, basically I get into the front lines and run through a group of enemies towards our lines mashing the left mouse button, I usually survive and get three or four kills. I also like to stab sap offensive engies. My other main class, scout, I use sandman because if I start getting hit I'm usually dead within a couple seconds anyway so the health penalty isn't too big a deal, and I use scattergun due to its ammo capacity, and pistol (exception of annoying sentry at chokepoint or something, then bonk to get past it) because of its capability to do decent damage at mid range.

Like others it really depends on what I'm feeling, the map could influence it, what class everyone else is can also influence it too. I like to keep my class selection balanced.

Demoman is my main class with 206 hours. My main weapon are stickies.(especially in open areas like gravel pit) And pipe bombs to finish them off as my 2ndary.(sometimes in small areas)
Besides long walks on the beach my favorite thing to do is dominate CMI and make him cry like a little girl. nuf said~

die!

solly, heavy, medic, demo are the only ones i play and i play pretty aggressive with all of them.

i change around between these classes depending on the situation and what the team needs at the time.

I looooovvvveeee demoman! I prefer to play it more offensively, that is, none of that sticky camping crap! I like to run at the enemies, get on the front lines, and explode the heck out of people! I also enjoy a good round of ubers and/or kritz, destroying sentries is also super fun! So i love pretty muh everything but sticky camping. Gives demomen a bad rep and is lame!

I like being a sandvich, I just lay in the ice box and wait for people to eat me. ;)

I like soldier, and I do a lot of rocket jumping for mobility and trying to anticipate what the enemy will do.

My main class is definetely a Demoman , altho I have been playing quite a bit of sniper lately .

However I like to try and mix things up as a Demo and not be the stereotypical stickie user everyone seems to complain about as just the same as a nade spammer so I like to sticky entrances or exits , and for some reason I really enjoy close quarters combat with pipe nades as well as air shots with pipe nades . It's really fun to blow someone up while they're 50 feet in the air lol .

I love pyro. I love the feeling of having someone in my grasp, knowing they can't escape my cleansing flame. I also love setting a large group of people on fire, regardless of how many kills I get or whether I die (probably why my k/d is so bad).

If there are less than 2 medics on the team and more than 10 players I play medic. I use Ubers more than Crits. I try to talk to the player I'm going to uber and let them say when. That doesn't always work out though. Get to know your players and develop some trust. Aggressive healer. I'll use the arc of my blutsauger to shoot over obstacles and will defend or cap a point if I find myself alone.

If there are already 2 medics I will play soldier, pyro, heavy, whatever is least represented.

Why? Support the team as best I can and win the round. Points? You can have mine.

Soldier,
I point in the general direction of something that needs blowing up, and press mouse 1, then things blow up.

scout, run fast and bonking people with the sandman is fun :D oh and the scattergun, haha

Spy, just to infiltrate the enemies base and watch what they're doing, and occasionally sap something. Also, I like to say (while in the enemies base), "Hey so-and-so from the other team, why'd you just [insert action here]" etc XD
