I have an ATI 4850 with a Thermaltake DuOrb aftermarket cooler, and i overclocked it over 700 core and over 1000 memory. Forgot the exact numbers but it runs fine on any game max pretty much at 1680x1050 (i know res isnt that grea -.-)

I kinda wished i went for a 4870x2 or something now though. No worries, when the ATI 5 series and Nvidia GTX 300 series come out, ill be sure to pick up one of the higher end cards like a 5870x2 or a gtx 385 whatever the names come out to be.

That resolution isn't bad at all.

Im hoping that i can get my hands on a GTX 295 once the 300 series comes out because of the price drop.

got one off craigslist, unopened, NIB for $200, that was the find of the year. The second one I got re-certified from newegg for $265. I always buy re-certified if I can find it. The reason being that re-certified stuff actually goes through more stringent testing then the normal items, so you know for a FACT that it will work, because they cant re-sell it if it doesn't work!

Yup

Thats the main reason im in the top 5! LoL . I have been overclocking for the past few days so they have had a break while I run prime95 and the like but as soon as I get a stable overclock they will start folding away again. I will also be putting my i7 to work too. Im gonna try the technique a lot of ppl are using with using the virtual box's to run the linux client, Im shooting for around 24k ppd with this system...
