What kind of GPU do you have?

ATI Radeon 4850 512MB

Others:
2xNvidia GeForce 7950 512MB (laying around in anti-static bags)
Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 256MB (laptop that doesn't work)
Nvidia GeForce 6800 256MB (in my Shuttle)
Nvidia GeForce 6600 256MB (in my MidTower that doesn't work)

I have the 9800 GX2 since it came out and it served me well up till now. But with L4D 2, CoD MM2, Mass Effect 2 and all the other games coming out in the next months, do you think I should start considering an upgrade ?

Atleast for L4D 2 you wont. It doesnt look that much better than L4D.

Anyways, I got a 8800GT.

The 9800gx2 gets really good framerates still you know that?
There isn't any reason to upgrade for this generation but you can be more than happy to upgrade when the new cards start rolling out. The ATI 5 series are supposed to be something like 40% faster than the current cards which is a pretty big improvement and the GTX 300 series are supposed to be much faster also. I have a feeling the GTX 300 series are going to be epic this time just because the kind of flunked it this generating against the ATI 4 series cards but we will have to wait and see.

I got the HD 4770, best card when it came out, now the HD 4850's are cheaper than it so no point unless you really want a small, energy-efficient, cool (as in temperatures), and powerful card.
