I have been wanting to start 3D Modeling, is this program free and do you know of any good tutorial sites or did you just teach yourself? Great work though, looks could can't wait to see final product.

A definite Answer: No.

Keep in mind that Maya is used by film studios and they pay upwards of $4000+ for each license.
Consider that Resistance 2

was made using Maya, you can see the power that this program has.

We diffidently need more 3d modelers working on Holy Strike if your interested. As stated above just PM Dragonhill or Bloodybunny.

HolyStrike needs people.

At college ive just recently started my 3D modeling class, great job man.
We use 3Ds max. But ive heard good things about maya.

That's very very nice... wowwwwww, where can you learn how to use maya?

There's a ton of tutorials on the web. Use Google. It servers worthy.

Im sure there's "Official" Classes as well, That will teach you a bit more in depth about modeling.

Maya is not free, however Blender is. Blender is a free 3D modeling program. It's the program I started modeling with. It's not as powerful as commercial programs, but it is a good starting point. Many concepts that you learn using Blender can be transferred to other programs. Check out www.blender.org. You can download the client and find a bunch of tutorials.

ty for the your complements, and maya is by far not the easiest 3D Package to learn and Im completely self taught I learned maya useing 3.5 and up and well i have barly scratched the surface. but i have not had the Structured College courses to help me though. but on the note of your mod , i will look into it.i have alot on my plate and don't want to commit to something i can't follow thru with.
