So earlier I made a mistake I'm sorry for. I used a ##$@% censor to imply a curse word. I apologize. But I became confused about being scolded for doing so. Because don't people use "wtf" and "lmao" and things like this all the time and no one is corrected when using them? They are implying the same thing...a curse word, which is forbidden in eGO servers and I think they are exactly like using the random character censors. If someone saw one of the two they'd think of the same word no matter what way you imply it. Not trying to rant...just thought I'd bring it up.

Thanks Edgegamers,

Reply your opinion :)

Really i dont think its necesarry im 18 and i dont swear alot . But is it necesarry? This is a clan for 13 and older . I dont really see whats the point of swearing . This is a clan for fun and hanging out not talking crap to other people and like that . Im sry if im being to harsh but dude really not necesarry

well it is part of our rules that we cant use masked curse words...thats all I have to say

I think it doesnt matter what I think, haha.... the rules says that there is no swearing or swear masking on any of the servers...

i dont mean using those when bashing someone (when i censored i was typing Im on a boat lyrics) thats the reason i joined eGO cuz i respect all those who are a part in it and just wanna have fun. I dont swear at all either. Thats why i attempted to censor it. I totally agree with you. Thats why i have a problem with the whole w-t-f thing

Try the drop box forum - it is an interesting point, the abbreviations vs. "masking".

I cant view the drop box=/... However I dont think it should be a "this is slightly different than this so its okay" ordeal. They both imply cursing. And we aren't allowed to even imply cussing in our servers. Maybe if i could view it my mind would be changed but I cant view it.

The rules are fairly simple guys. Foul language is not allowed, whether it is typed out completely or "self-censored." The only exceptions we make are for certain acronyms like wtf.

While you may not agree with all of our rules it is important that you understand and abide by them. We are doing our best to make our servers family-friendly and mature and this is one of the ways we complete that goal. If you have more questions about our rules please feel free to contact an advisor and we will be more than happy to discuss the details with you.
