I'm starting to think you can't even get hats off of idler. I'm doing it in that slim chance that you can. Otherwise, it boosts the time I've been playing TF2 (according to Steam, X-fire, gametracker, etc.).

Of course you can get hats with the idler. Why would 10k players use it if it didn't >.<

I have no hats. I will get them eventually and if not, no big deal as I can't see my hat when I play

I've gotten 2 hats by using the idling program, still I agree its starting to get most annoying seeing that most people on my friends list are idling and not actually playing, I really hate that they removed (or maybe just made it rarer) random lvl weapons, cause i only get lvl 1 - 10 weapons now...

Ironically, I do use the idler, but all three of my hats were found in-game. Idler is just bad luck for me, lol.

Have Problems with VAC ?

The idler program does not give you problems with VAC, unless you are opening Tf2, while the program are running.
The idling program itself allways connect to a non-VAC server.

Why should I be embarrassed because I want to play with and enjoy the new game content Valve has released?

I got 300+ gamehours, no hats.

I missed out on the medal because I was playing the freaking game.

I'll idle all I want, jeez.

It's the fact that I see players that have more than one hat and I have absolutely zip besides a crummy medal that no body can see in the first place because it's so tiny. I'd be happy if I even got at least one of the old hats but I always get duplicates. It also aggravates me that I cannot experience a single hat because the program still hasn't decided to hand me one for the last three months when they were first released in May. I've given up on the idle program because it gives me absolutely nothing besides a pattern of weapons. Yes Valve we need fifteen of every weapon for a trade system that will come out when Half-Life 2: Episode Three comes out. Sorry for the rant guys but this is really unfair. :glare:
